Memory Lane

La Salle Military Academy Librarian

In this interview, Sue Doyle reminisces about her time as librarian at the La Salle Military Academy from 1981 to 1993. She particularly loved conducting tours of the Bourne Mansion and talks in detail about different features she remembers. She also remembers fondly some of the brothers she worked with, students, and a special volunteer who helped her to digitize the library and its collection. If Sue looks familiar to you, it’s because she worked at the Connetquot Public Library’s Adult Reference Desk for many years. She has since retired and is living in upstate New York where she enjoys a lot of time with her grandson.
